It’s not just the billionaires. There are 300,000 households in the U.S., each with over $50 million, with a combined wealth of $40 trillion (that’s more than the entire national debt).
Tax the Ultra-Rich
The ultra-rich have rigged the system to amass, grow and protect their wealth. We need to unrig the system with a set of Ultra Rich Taxes, the URTs –an income surtax, a wealth tax, and a set of provisions that prevent extreme dynastic wealth passing down tax-free to heirs.

But for many who believe there are good billionaires (and probably Santa Claus as well), the prevailing argument is that billionaires donate to good causes or good candidates.
